Boa Vista is the practical gateway to Roraima and the starting point for Serra do Tepequém, roughly 200 kilometres away in Amajari. The combination moves from a planned northern capital and lavrado savanna into a cooler highland landscape of waterfalls, trails, viewpoints and mining history.
