Why this place
Monte Roraima is one of Brazil’s defining expedition destinations: a vast table mountain on the borders of Brazil, Venezuela and Guyana. Most trekking itineraries begin from Boa Vista, cross into Venezuela and approach the mountain through the Gran Sabana before several days of walking and camping. The summit rewards the effort with sandstone formations, crystal valleys, endemic plants and a landscape that feels unlike conventional mountain travel.
