Why this place
Presidente Figueiredo is the Amazonian waterfall country north of Manaus. The BR-174 corridor and side roads lead to waterfalls, rapids, caves, forest trails and rural attractions, while the same highway continues toward Boa Vista. That makes the town unusually valuable both as an ecotourism base and as a genuine route-building stop.
