Why this place
Tibagi is the gateway to Guartelá State Park and the canyon carved by the Iapó River. The protected landscape combines sandstone walls, waterfalls, natural pools, native grasslands, forest fragments and prehistoric rock paintings. A self-guided basic trail makes part of the park accessible, while the rock-art route requires an authorised guide and advance planning.
