The journey
This trip is built around one of Brazil’s biggest contrasts: two enormous but very different cities followed by the Amazon. Rio provides the instantly recognisable Brazil many travellers imagine first, São Paulo adds a denser urban and cultural counterpoint, and the flight north to Manaus then changes the scale completely, leaving enough nights at the end for the rainforest to feel like a real chapter rather than a rushed add-on.
